God’s sovereign grace besets us before and behind and overspreads and under-girds our lives. We deserve nothing, but we are inheritors of all. We stumble forward, kept all the while by His power and made fruitful in spite of ourselves! Grace is the fountainhead of all we can become. But that lesson learned, it is our wisdom to see that grace has never been shown as an end in itself.
