You're InvitedSample
You’re invited to be generous.
Have you ever thought about what a privilege it is to be generous? Often we see generosity as a sacrifice to be made instead of an honor to have. To be generous means you first have the privilege of possessing a resource and then the ability to give it away.
Psalms 89:11 reminds us that all things are God’s. Every single thing in heaven and on earth is His. Because He is such a gracious and loving God, he allows us to partake in what is His.
When we understand that having anything in life is a blessing God has bestowed upon us, it shapes generosity a little differently. It gives us the ability to be grateful we have anything at all! What right do we have to hold tightly to our money and possessions when we receive them as gifts?
Maybe today is when you begin to see generosity as a “get to” instead of a “have to.”
Look for a way to be generous today when you normally wouldn’t, and remember generosity doesn’t always mean giving away money. Look for ways to be generous with your time, gifts, and possessions. After being generous, examine your heart and the change in your day, and thank God for the opportunities He has placed in your life to be generous.

About this Plan
The invitation has always been there; receiving it is the first step. What does it mean to be invited to a life with Jesus? In this 4-day plan, we look at four things that happen when we accept the gift of Jesus into our life. We hope this plan gives you practical ways to truly understand what it can look like to be a follower of Christ.
