The battle for your heart

There is a reason why the enemy wants you stuck in a stronghold.

There is something you have that the enemy is after. It is the greatest power source on this planet, which is why there is a battle in the heavenlies for it. The battle is for your heart.

It is from your heart that every issue of life flows (Proverbs 4:23).

It is from the overflow of your heart that your mouth speaks (Luke 6:45; Matt 12:34).

It is with your words that you create your reality (Proverbs 18:21).

You are, after all, your Father's child, created in the image of the One who created the universe through His Spirit and His spoken Word.

Like Rapunzel, I had surrendered my power source to the one who was not worthy of it and wanted to use it for his selfish purposes- to steal, kill and destroy. He managed to bring a fair bit of destruction before I discovered who I was and took a stand against him.

Discovering your true identity will untangle you from the lies that have kept you bound and locked away in your stronghold.

Dear friend, do not allow the enemy to use your heart any longer.

The Father is inviting you to bring your tangled-up heart to Him. He is not angry, disappointed, or shocked by the tangled mess you might find yourself in right now. His only desire is to untangle you and give your powerful heart back. You will not be able to resist Him when you discover His tender heart of compassion for you.

He wants you to use that powerful heart of yours for His glory as you come into alignment with the words He had written on it, even before you were born.

Get Untangled

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you identify one lie about yourself that has kept you stuck. Then, ask Him to give you a scripture that is the truth about who you are. Write it down and put it somewhere you can frequently see it.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for winning the battle for our hearts. We take back every area where the enemy has used our hearts for selfish purposes. We refuse to believe the lies he has told us. We take back our powerful hearts and declare that we will only fill them with the truth of who you say we are. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
