ReroutingSample
When traveling, getting directions is essential. They help us when we don’t exactly know the best way to get to where we want to be. Directions not only tell us the route we should take, but they often take note of any dangers or troubles that could happen along the way. The directions help us to navigate around valleys, disruptions, or pitfalls that can keep us from getting to our destination. When we look at our lives, we all wish we had directions to guide us. As believers, we do. We have the stories of those who had gone before us and navigated similar pitfalls but who were able to make it to the other side. These stories help us keep going when all hope seems lost. And these stories also let us in on the secret to their survival. Everything written in the Bible points to a Savior. Every story points directly to a God who has been with His people in the past and continues to be with His people today. Knowing these stories helps us to hold on to our faith no matter what we face. Plan to spend a little time in the Word each day this week. As you read, write down the Scripture references to stories that you connect with the most. What do these stories have in common?

About this Plan
No matter the destination you’re trying to reach, the journey to get there comes with twists and turns instead of a straight path. We often have to reroute. In this devotional we’ll dive into what it looks like to reroute and find a new map along the journey. We’ll see many examples of God working to fulfill the plans He created for us.
