Year of the Bible: Part Seven of TwelveSample

God's Partners in Ruling the World
When God chose to have humanity be His image in the world, He instructed them to fill the earth. Fill the earth with what? With His image. Why didn't God just fill the earth Himself? Because He wanted to share Himself with a family. This fact, when meditated upon, brings out awe, wonder, and worship to a God who is way beyond comprehending.
Question: Spend some time looking at the wonder of God's creation. No matter where you live in the world, there is incredible beauty. Meditate on (which means to muse, ponder, chew over, and think about) the things you know about God—things you have experienced with Him. Then pray this Psalm out loud. Write in a journal what the Holy Spirit speaks back to you.
Prayer: Read today's scripture out loud as a prayer.
