In today’s world, we’re constantly reminded of how people are unkind to one another. But, being kind and using gentle words is pleasing to God, plus it allows us to spread his love in a world with a lot of unkindness going around. We can ask God to help us be more aware of how we use our words and what’s going on in our hearts. God is our rock, which means that God will always be there, so when we have a hard time using our words wisely or showing kindness to others, we can always ask God for help. God wants us to show the world what God is like, so that’s why paying attention to things like our words and what’s going on in our hearts is so important. Just imagine what would happen if we all treated each other kindly when it comes to our words. Imagine if everyone’s heart was full of kindness toward everyone else. We all know those things would make this world would be a much better place. Well, we can get this started by asking God to help us keep our words, and our hearts lined up with what God says is best.
