God Looks at You and Loves What He SeesSample

Help Me Receive You
In our personal experience, when Holy Spirit leads us to a place of pain and offers healing, it can be hard to say yes to Him right away. Not because we don’t want healing. We like the outcome of healing, for sure. But we might be nervous about the surrender required, and we might squirm a bit when healing involves us first taking a good, hard look at how we really feel about ourselves.
In the message this week, we heard Holy Spirit say to us, “I like what I see.”
Your reaction to His words is important.
Close your eyes and let your imagination picture your Father or Jesus before you, looking at you, into you, speaking those words to you: “I like what I see.”
What is it like to hear Him say this to you? Do you believe Him? Do you believe God looks at you, seeing the true you, and likes what He sees?
Yes? No?
Examine those feelings. Ask God’s help in understanding your reaction.
To do that, stay in that place before Him, eyes closed, letting your imagination see Him. Ask God or Jesus these questions:
"What am I feeling when I hear You say to me, 'I like what I see'? What do I do with those feelings now? What do You have for me? Help me receive it. Help me receive You. Right here. Right now. Amen."
Write as a comment in your journal: “He looks at me and likes what He sees.”

About this Plan

God likes what he sees when he looks at you - all of you. And won't love us more after we lose 10 lbs, tackle those eye wrinkles, or finally master getting dinner on the table. All he wants? Your heart. This 5 day plan reminds you of just how much he loves you and equips you to receive his love.
