The R in P.R.A.Y.E.R. stands for renew. When we prioritize prayer in our lives, we make room for God to speak to us. When God speaks, we allow what He says to renew our minds by changing our thinking. When we change our thinking, we change our actions. Changed actions lead to changed destinies.

When we spend time praying to God, we not only benefit from it but others as well. When we spend time in prayer and get instruction from Him, we are changed from the inside out. We are changed from glory to glory. We are allowing God to expand our thinking about the impact He has called us to make.

As you pray, remember prayer is not you talking to God but also God talking to you. You do not need to do all the talking. You should talk less. God is always saying amazing things we need, but we forget to get quiet enough to hear. Prayer is essential because renewing your mind is essential.
