SOAP – Matthew 2:10-11
The Magi were the ‘wise men’ from Persia who were experts in the sciences. They were strangers to God, but they brazenly followed the star placed by God to reach the Messiah. The Magi followed the light that God sent and were blessed with the joy of Jesus Christ. God guided their journey step by step. In the end, the Magi were the first to witness the glory of God in the face of Jesus. Their journey ended in worship of Him.

What unexpected journey does God have you on? You can trust that God is present as He is guiding you step by step. His promise is that you will develop a more intimate and deeper knowledge of Him through the journey. God rewards those who diligently seek Him.

Father God, You are my Guide, lighting every step of my path. I thank You for the promise of Your presence and love on my journey. Lord, help me to trust in Your direction and Your guidance. Remind me that my steps have been directed and ordered by You, especially when the journey gets hard. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
