Your Story Is Not Done

DAY 3 OF 5

“I had begged, stolen, and borrowed to get to this moment...”

Scott McNamara lived for the party in one of the most popular boy bands in the United Kingdom in the 90s. One of his friends was a connected drug kingpin. One party night sticks out, as it was his last.

“As me and my friend are ripping our way through this bag of cocaine, I watched him die in front of my eyes.” Then I heard whispers. “Scott’s next...Scott’s going to overdose...” My heart was beating so hard exploding out of my chest and then... flatline. I closed my eyes but when I opened them again I could see flaming gates.”

Scott miraculously survived. Only God could have snatched him out of hell’s grip and the torment awaiting there. Scott began to see for the first time that God had been running even harder after him despite how hard he had run.

Romans 8:38-39 says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Nothing can fill our hearts like the perfect Love of our heavenly Father. No dream, person, knowledge, fame, or power attained will ever be fully satisfied because we were made for Love. He IS perfect Love - unbreakable, unending, never giving up, and going to hell and back for you Love.
