Day 40: I have purpose in growth

Well done – by completing this devotional, you have shown that you are committed to this purpose that God has ordained for you: to grow in your love for Him and to grow in fellowship with Him. One day in heaven, all we will be is companions to God, enjoying and worshipping Him in His full glory. What we will be one day is still a mystery, but we know He is preparing us now, while on earth, to be His friends for eternity.

Let's Pray

Thank You, Lord, that I have purpose in growth. You want me to grow and continue to become more like Your image. I am sorry for the times I have not invested in my growth. I am sorry for the times I stagnated because, self-righteously, I believed I had grown enough instead of receiving more. Thank You for Your Word, the Holy Spirit, access to Your throne by the blood of Jesus, and prayer. I want to use these - and more - to grow in You. I want to grow closer and closer to you. I choose to believe today that I have purpose in growth, even when I don’t see it. Please take my life and make it multiply in fruitful abundance for Your Kingdom! Amen.
