The War on Wisdom Sample

The resounding message in these verses - which mirror the common thread throughout the entire Bible - is that there is no other way to God's blessing than living a life dedicated to Jesus. One must live life knowing that Jesus is the only way, He is the truth and the Life. We can only get to the Father through Him.

These verses are sandwiched between the paths of life in which we choose to walk and the wisdom of giving thought to the way we live. We need to fear the Lord and shun evil. Although we may think the path that we are walking is right, it is wise to realize that what may seem right to us isn’t necessarily right in God's eyes. We desperately need God as we choose which roads to follow and which doors to walk through. We can’t trust our own judgement, but rather, we need wisdom and revelation from God and His Word. Day in and day out we need to choose Jesus. He is after all the one true way, the only way.
