Ask Seek Knock - Sermon on the MountSample

Ask Seek Knock - Sermon on the Mount

DAY 5 OF 15

God cares about every part of our lives. We might be praying about something that seems small or something that seems big. No matter what it is, God is listening. If you're believing God for some big things—healing for someone who is sick, a problem that seems too hard to find an answer or a fear that feels overwhelming—be encouraged by the verses you read today. Even when we can’t see a way through, we can trust that God can do beyond what we can ever ask or imagine. Keep putting your faith and trust in Him.

Sometimes God’s answer to our prayers is “Yes”, sometimes it’s “No” and sometimes it’s “Not yet”. It might feel like God hasn’t answered our prayers or hasn’t answered in the way we think He should. Have faith that God knows what is best for us, and do not worry. God can give us peace during a tough situation. When it doesn’t seem like the answer has come yet, trust that God is at work.

We can pray bold prayers like Jabez. God is bigger, stronger, more powerful, and wiser than we can understand. Nothing is impossible with God. Our prayers don’t have to be limited by what we think is possible. Nothing is too hard for God. God hears us when we pray; ask, and it will be given to you.

About this Plan

Ask Seek Knock - Sermon on the Mount

Jesus teaches about prayer in His Sermon on the Mount. He teaches us to ask and it will be given to us, seek and we will find, knock and the door will be opened.
