52 Bible Verses on HopeSample
Job is a man in the Bible who was very prosperous but experienced severe trials and lost everything, including his family. The journey Job walks through is almost unimaginable! Yet through it all, he maintains an unshakable view of God’s ultimate goodness. Even though Job sees a steady stream of evil coming his way, he anchors his hope in God’s track record of goodness toward the godly. This verse is also a testament to Job’s surrender to God’s wisdom and insight being beyond his own. Why would Job say, “Even if He kills me, I’ll hope in Him”? Because he’s saying, “I may not understand it all, but I will trust Him.”
