My hope in Jesus gives me courage! Because I know who’s behind me, I’m full of hope. It reminds me of the story of David and Goliath; although he was young and much smaller, David had confidence that he could beat the giant Goliath because God was on David’s side. In your life, you’ll know that you’re starting to live and walk in greater hope when you begin to live with less fear and more courage. Courage in what you say and do should be a by-product of knowing God more. The Old Testament prophet Daniel, who faced his fears in the lions’ den, said that the people who know their God would be mighty (Daniel 11:32)!
