Spirit, Soul & Body Part 2Sample

Spirit, Soul & Body Part 2

DAY 5 OF 5

The gift of new life, new birth, a new day!

Reflection

Try and think through all the types of products, materials, and possessions that people enjoy upgrading or getting ‘the latest versions of,’ demonstrating how relevant or current they are to the times.

Reread the scriptures and allow God’s Spirit to stir in you his life-giving joy.

Introspection

Nicodemus couldn’t grasp being born again with his mind or body. Yet, as he embraced the message Jesus spoke, Spirit ignited spirit, resulting in him aligning his life forevermore with the person and promise of Jesus who made him new.

Paul communicated the same messages across the churches that there was an ‘old’ version called the reference of Adam (which Jesus dealt with) and a ‘new’ version that was god-like (revealed to us in Jesus). This became the new self - the new life, new birth; our new day dawned not when we decided to follow him, but on the day he rose to conquer the grave.

Today we embrace the newness in the life he freely gives.

Your Next Step

Three things to ask yourself:

1. How real has Jesus become to me, and how tangible is His new life today?

2. What can I see and hope for as my soul guides my body in expressing what’s in my spirit?

3. How will I share the work of Jesus and this new life with others around me?

Remember to connect with us today and share your experience of this plan and how we can pray with you and support you further as a follower of Jesus.
