God has a purpose for where He placed you. He determines the times we are to live and the places where we live, work, and play. You are Jesus "with skin on" to those around you. Remember, some of the most loving things you can do for the people around you are to pray and introduce them to Christ. We are Christ's ambassadors.

Using the Lord's Prayer as your guide, walk and pray quietly. If there are other friends available, walk and pray together. You can walk in your neighborhood, in the halls of your office, circling the field as your children play sports, or around the places you gather with their friends. - John F. Lord's Prayer Walking Guide

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.

Praise God as you begin. Use the alphabet as your guide: God, you are almighty, abundant. God, you are benevolent, big, beside me….

Thy Kingdom come.

Acknowledge the Lordship of Christ over your neighborhood and workplace ... Visualize a spotlight shining into each place you pass. Let it represent a picture of God's love drawing your neighbors to Him. Pray for salvation and spiritual awakening!

Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Pray for God's will to be accomplished in every location.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Pray for the provision of basic needs for each person. Visualize a sprinkler of blessings covering each place.

Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.

Pray for reconciliation with God and others. Pray that walls are broken down—marriages, families, differences.

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

Pray that God would cast out and keep out all evil from your neighborhood and workplace ... Pray that all the believers would be "salt and light" to those around them.

For Thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
