What a glorious God we have been created by! In his image, the image in which we are made, we find kindness that fuels our peace and joy. In his care, we are watched over and kept close in his loyal love. He is the source of our very lives, and he does not withhold his mercy from any who look to him for help.

What are you worried about today? Is there a weariness that you just can’t shake? Find kindness in the fellowship of the Spirit of God. He is with you now; he is ready to listen and help. He cares for you more than you can imagine. His marvelous mercy is ready to relieve your heavy heart with miracles of tender kindness. Press in, turn your attention to him, and find that he cares so tenderly for you.

Jesus, thank you for your presence through your Spirit. Lift the heaviness of my anxieties and the load of my weariness. I long for rest in your presence, for rejuvenation in your joy, and for relief in your love. Show me how deeply you care for me.
