A Powerful PrayerSample

The secret of the great missionaries
The men who have done much for God are those who pray. John Wesley spent at least 2 hours a day praying. Samuel Rutherford got up at 3 a.m. to wait on the Lord. John Fletcher is said to have stained the walls of his room with the breath of his prayer. The great missionaries were men who prayed.
Think of David Brainerd that died at the age of 29, and Henry Martyn at the age of 31.Their names, though they died young, stood out among the names of even the brightest missionaries.
These young men did not only make a deep influence on their generation but also next generations. This did not happen only because of their hard work, but also because of their prayer life and holy character.
Reflection:
When we pray, do we believe that our prayers can move God's hand to change a generation? Let us be more persistent in prayer, and we will see the power of God work in our lives.
Every great movement of God can be traced to a kneeling figure. (D. L. Moody)

About this Plan

Prayer is the breath of every believer, not just an activity we do when we need something; it should be a part of everyday life. Faith in the Lord will make our prayers powerful. Let's always believe that God can answer our prayers whenever we pray.
