WHAT DO GIRLS RESPECT IN A GUY?

What do most girls admire and respect in a guy? The answer might be surprising, and because these traits are becoming less and less typical, the guy who displays them is considered highly desirable by women. While simple gestures of chivalry are appreciated, women look beyond the superficiality of a man opening a door or paying for a meal – and instead, observe his heart. While all those “chivalrous” gestures are kind, and even desirable, they alone should never be the only influence that melts the heart of a woman.  A real man is defined by so much more than a simple gesture.

2. How can you tell whether a guy is self-controlled or not?
3. How can your “doing good” be an example for the young men you are around?

Read Galatians 5:22-25 
1. Can you think of other qualities or virtues that would make a guy irresistible?
2. These virtues were listed as a contrast to the way we tend to act without God’s leading. What would be the opposite trait of each one?
3. How can you communicate to a guy that this description of the Holy Spirit’s influence is your desire?  

Women desire to be treated as creatures of great value - much like you would handle a priceless and beautiful vase.  That’s not a wimpy pushover, but rather someone who cares for others more than he cares for himself.
