It is possible to get stuck in your past and miss what God is doing in the present. The devil will use past failures to bog us down. But just as you cannot live in past failures, you cannot live in past victories. Only the Lord can help us get past our past—past failures and past blessings—to discover what He has for us today. Determine you will live in the now!

The famous missionary Jim Elliot once said, "Wherever you are, be all there! Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God." You cannot change the past; you cannot know the future...so live today as God would have you to live. Today is the only day you can affect, so allow God to work in and through you.
