Key People: Key People From The BibleSample
Esther
Even though Esther is the queen, it is a huge risk for her to even speak to the king. In verse 14, Mordecai lets Ether know she is in a place where she could do some good and she needs to do something. Like Nehemiah, Esther understands she should not take action before praying.
What was true for Esther is also true for us. We are where we are because God wants us there. If there is good we can do, we should do it! You could be in a position close to power, like Esther, or in a place that seems insignificant. No matter our place, we should use it to obey God and benefit others.
