Wherever you are, God has put you in that place, on this day, for a specific reason. Therefore, the people around you need you. This is your calling. God will show you the right vision and if necessary, provide the right team to impact your community. You can—and will—experience incredible, Gospel-driven, Kingdom wins! Ultimately, that’s our goal, right?

If you’re struggling right now, take heart. Maybe you’re without a pastor, or your local church is going through a time of transition. Maybe you’re being pulled apart by divisive encampments, and you’re trying to find the centerline. Maybe you’ve lost some relationships, or worse, some have walked away from their faith. Lastly, and maybe the most difficult to hear, perhaps you’ve allowed some personal opinion or unresolved sin destroy some of what God has provided. These are painful trials that every Christian knows. Don’t give up! Take heart.

Despite all these hurdles, there are valuable lessons to be learned. There is growth that Christ can provide by leaning on Him for strength and identity. Remain steadfast and unified with Him. The road may be rocky and full of obstacles, but He has everything you need. Be encouraged and “press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:14). There is no hurdle or trial that will prevent the Holy Spirit’s conviction and calling.

As you finish this reading plan, where is God calling you next? What conviction is the Holy Spirit stirring inside of you in this moment? What’s your next step of life and leadership?

Pray: Lord, help me hear Your voice and calling. Convict me of any opinion or sin that may be preventing Your leading. Help me know and understand my Gospel-place in my community. Help me be boldly dependent on You for all things. Show me how to take my next step of faith in this life, as I await Your ultimate call home. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
