Jesus Is the Ultimate Prophet, Priest and KingSample

Jesus Is the Ultimate Prophet, Priest and King

DAY 11 OF 11

Jesus is absolutely amazing

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing! (Revelation 5:12)

It took us 10 days to study Jesus’ three major ‘functions’. He is the ultimate Prophet, the perfect Priest and the almighty King. All three ‘functions’ or ‘offices’ had been prophesied centuries before Jesus became man, they got their fulfillment during His earthly ministry and atoning death (in ways nobody could have foreseen), and now they all come together for the salvation of God’s people.

Ten days are not enough to study Jesus’ work. But today, let’s turn from studying the facts to praising Jesus for all He has done for His children.

Thank You, Jesus, for revealing God the Father to us.

Thank You for leading us in the truth.

Thank You for showing us the way to eternal life.

Thank You for making purification for our sins.

Thank You for being our Advocate and Mediator.

Thank You for being our King and Lord.

We praise You, Jesus, for having authority over all powers and authorities.

We praise You as the ultimate Prophet, the perfect Priest and the King of Kings.

To You be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

Day 10

About this Plan

Jesus Is the Ultimate Prophet, Priest and King

Jesus Christ has existed from eternity as God the Son. But He came to earth to make sinful people right with God again. His salvation work can be described in three key words: He is the ultimate Prophet, Priest and King — not just during His earthly ministry, but forever. This reading plan takes 11 days to discover what these three ‘offices’ of Jesus imply.
