8 Habits Of An Influential PersonSample
Connect with Others
Influential people get involved in other people’s lives. They connect with others.
People don’t care about how much you know until they know how much you care.
The more people know you for who you really are and the more you get to know others in your life and deeply care about them, the stronger the influence you’ll be able to have in their lives.
Here’s the thing. We might impress people with our strengths, but we connect with people through our weaknesses.
Influential people connect with others on a very deep level.
Take Mother Theresa for example. She was one of the most influential people to ever have lived. She lived with the poorest of the poor and got involved in their lives. That’s how she gained influence.
Let’s look at the most influential person to have ever walked this earth, um … Jesus. He was all about connecting with other people and getting involved in their lives. People knew He cared. They could see it and feel it. And people listened to what He had to say.
If you want to live like Christ, love people.
The stronger the influence you want to have, the stronger the relationships you need to build.
