The Vision Led LifeSample
Vision Brings Responsibility In Place Of Deflection
In a culture that feels like everyone wants to pin responsibility upon someone else, we need to be people who take ownership.
A lot of people want to talk about what you must do, what they must do, and what others should be doing.
But let’s not be people who abdicate responsibility for the Great Commission, because we are caught up in the actions or inactions of others.
Don’t allow the anxieties and actions of others to set your agenda.
After Mary and Joseph find Jesus in the temple, Mary’s first words to Jesus are: “Why have you done this to us?”
Mary is excusing the way she and Joseph are acting because of what Jesus has done.
But Jesus responds: “I must be about my Father’s business.”
Despite being young, Jesus knew what He was about and He wasn’t going to let someone else set His agenda.
Have you taken personal ownership of the Father’s business?
Vision makes all the difference in how we approach our lives, imagine what would happen if we each determined that we wouldn’t delegate out the Father’s business to someone else.
Instead, let’s focus our lives on the ‘business’ that our Heavenly Father has set for us to accomplish.
Decide today, I must be about my Father’s business.

About this Plan
Vision makes the difference in how we approach our lives. Jesus knew what His priority was when He was just 12 years old and had already embraced a vision led life. To put it simply, Jesus knew what He was about. When we identify God inspired vision, it produces multiple positive effects in our lives. Through this devotional, we’ll consider five of them and their application for our lives.
