Romans 8:1-2 are good news verses in the Bible. Because Jesus took the punishment for our sin, we don’t have to live under shame and condemnation for sin confessed to Jesus. It can be common to feel like we have to mope around or look depressed because of our sins in the past or present. While we need to confess and turn from those sins, we can then hold our heads up high and approach God with complete confidence because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross.
