Today's verse is truly a life hack. Often when trying to live for Christ, we can accidentally focus too much on not sinning rather than doing what’s right. The Apostle Paul tells us to flee from sin. Instead of staying in the middle of a tempting situation and working hard to avoid sinning, choose to get out of that situation. Even better yet is to learn to avoid those situations altogether. As the verse points out, it’s more about what we’re running towards than what we’re running from. Christianity is more about chasing after righteousness than just trying to avoid sin.
