The passion and innocent suffering of Jesus Christ was for all people. Jesus was humbled, humiliated, rejected, and became sin for us. We all have a great need for Jesus Christ, but those who receive Jesus as Lord and Savior understand the extent of His sacrifice. Those who have been forgiven much, love much.
What are you rejoicing about today? With each new day, we are given new mercy, compassion that never fails, and the overflowing love of God. If God never does another thing for us, He has done the utmost by giving us His Son. That is something to be thankful for every single day.
Father God, I thank You for loving and pursuing me even when I was in sin. Give me a heart of gratitude and praise. Help me to rejoice in You every day no matter my circumstances. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
