Your heart is an amazing organ designed by God as an incubator or seedbed. Whatever you put inside of your heart will grow and bring forth a harvest in your life. Just like in a garden, the soil doesn’t care what kind of seed you insert. Regardless, that seed will sprout and grow. Unfortunately, many artists plant seeds of doubt, fear, shame, and anxiety in their hearts and then struggle to believe they can thrive in their life and art.

The truth is your reality can and will change when you start to replace the lies of the enemy and your past with God’s Word, believing it in your heart and acting on it by faith. That's how the Kingdom of God is designed to work.

If you've not been experiencing the abundant life that Jesus promised, more than likely you've been planting the wrong seeds in your heart. Remember, whatever you plant in your heart will sprout. And if you want the fruit of the Kingdom to come forth, you have to plant the seeds of the Kingdom - God's Word.

What lies have you believed about your ability to experience a new reality beyond what you’ve known up to this point in your life? Ask God to show you His truth and then create an affirmation to support that new truth. Every time the enemy comes at you with the lies from the past, simply recognize it, repent, replace it with the truth of God’s Word, reinforce that truth over and over, and then rejoice in your new Kingdom reality. Over time, your normal response will begin to align with God’s best for your life.
