What a Beautiful NameSample

If a very important person was coming to your house today, how would you feel? What would you do? Would you clean your house so it’s spotless and sparkling? Would you put on your most fancy clothes and make sure your hair is in place and your teeth are clean?

When you hear the name of an important person it affects you. The name carries meaning and power. Jesus’ name is far above any other name, but Jesus doesn’t demand that your life is spotless and sparkling clean. You don’t have to try and make yourself perfect to meet Jesus. We can come to Jesus just as we are.

Jesus, the highest name of all, made himself nothing so He could rescue all of humanity. Jesus meets us right where we are. His name is higher than any other name in the universe. There is no name as powerful, wonderful, or as beautiful as the name of Jesus.
