52 Bible Verses to Teach Your KidsSample

What are you living for? Is life just about you, and how you can get what you want? Is it just about how you can get ahead in life? The Bible calls us to live differently than that. We are not to live with selfish ambition but to focus on others before ourselves. That’s a little counterintuitive these days, but when you focus less on making yourself happy and more on serving others, then you’ll find that God brings into your life all you need and more.
QUESTIONS
Do you always play the game or watch the movie you want, or do you let your friends choose first? What’s something you could do for your family or friends to help their lives be better?
CONFESSION
I will live to serve others above myself. As I focus on others, God will take care of me.

About this Plan

Each of these 52 Bible verses is formative to our understanding of God, the world, and our lives. Read the devotional with your child. Ask them the question and have them read the confession out loud. If they are old enough, they can read it, but they can help them understand the verse and how it applies to their lives.
