TWO IN A CROWD
Imagine you are in a big crowd waiting for something to happen. That’s how this story begins.
Large crowds had come to see Jesus. He’d been away from his base in Capernaum, travelling to towns on the far side of Lake Galilee. Now he was back – and plenty of people were there to welcome him.
There were two people, especially, wanting to see Jesus. Both had heard of Jesus’ power and both went to him for help.
Jairus was an important man in Capernaum. As the person in charge of the Jewish meeting place, he would have known Jesus. What did he ask Jesus?
No one noticed the other person, even Jesus at first. Who was the second person who needed help?
What do you think Jesus will do?
