Pregnancy Prayer — Purity

My Glorious Father,

Your Word says that You have the appearance of jasper and ruby! A rainbow like an emerald encircles Your throne, along with flashes of lightning, and Your voice is like roaring thunder. In heaven, the elders bow down to You, Father. You live forever and ever. You created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it. You are our amazing, Almighty, Most High God!

Today, I ask for Your help as I teach my child to be pure and holy before Your eyes. Help my baby to follow Your ways as I lead by example. Your Word says, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” Lord, I pray that You keep my child pure and holy. Help me to teach him or her to dress modestly and to remain sexually pure until marriage. Please, forgive me if I have been a poor example of this. Guard my baby’s eyes from unholy television shows, Internet games, apps, or videos. I know that Satan is prowling around like a lion, ready to pounce on and seduce him or her through these devices.

Please, Lord, put Your mightiest angels with my child throughout his or her life, and protect my baby from being seduced. I pray Your voice sounds like a roaring thunder in my child's ears. Please, speak truth to him or her when temptations arise.

I pray that my child listens to You, Holy Spirit, and that my child knows that it is Your voice that he or she hears at a very young age. Jesus, I pray that You keep all evil away from my child. These days and times that we live in are filled with distress and uncertainty. I pray that You keep my child safe from any sexual harm or predators. Please, walk beside my child each day, Lord, and keep him or her safe from any type of abuse or exploitation.

Thank You, Jesus, for purifying us with Your Blood.
