Ungodly Family TiesSample

Day 3: Ungodly Characteristics
I am beyond thankful that our God loves us so much that He does not want us to fail. He tells us specifically throughout the bible what is and is not pleasing to Him. We all fall short, but what if you try your absolute best to be a godly family member, yet the ungodly choices of others affect you and your well-being?
As you read the following verses, identify ungodly behaviors that do not please God, the Father. The bible gives us very detailed examples of how we should not conduct ourselves. We have instructions on how we should, as well as, how we should not act.
When surrounded by ungodly behaviors, how does this affect your happiness? Is your state of mind or walk as a Christian affected? Because we are merely flesh and blood, we fall prey to mimicking the same sinful actions that repeatedly come against us, regardless if these actions are unintentional. Although it hurts to be surrounded by these unwanted behaviors (especially from family members), it also stunts our growth as Christians. This can happen without us being aware of its detrimental effects.
Reflect on the following bible verses to further understand behaviors that are the opposite of God's plan for our lives and our family members...
