We spend a lot of time talking. We ask people to help us. We tell people what we’ve been doing. We tell people how we are feeling.

It’s important to talk to people. And it’s important to talk with God.

Have a go at asking yourself some of these questions. They might help you think about the ways you pray.

• Do you pray with your eyes open? Or closed?
• Do you sit? Kneel? Stand? Walk about?
• Do you pray with other people? On your own?
• Do your pray indoors? Outside?
• Do you pray when you are happy? Sad? Worried? Scared? Anytime?

Jesus is happy for us to pray whenever and wherever we feel comfortable. Sometimes you might prefer to find a quiet and special place to pray to God, just like Jesus did. Other times, it can be great to pray with lots of other people – or sing or dance our prayers!

Pray: Thank Jesus that you can talk to him at any time, anywhere, about anything.
