Walk Through The Bible 365 - AugustSample
How Are You Doing Today?
Almost every day, or even many times a day, people will ask you, "How are you?" or some equivalent query to that effect. Normally, a response will sound like, "Fine," "ok," "good," or "not bad." Those of us who have experienced God’s deliverance, mercy, grace, love, and forgiveness, as the Psalmist writes, could provide a different answer. With humbleness and sincerity we could say, "The Lord is great!" This is a declaration of faith that we know in times of trouble and distress, God is our help and deliverer and we have confidence in His love for us despite the circumstances.
Prayer: Sing with me, "How Great is Our God." Father, You are great and greatly to be praised. Help me to see Your greatness and declare Your greatness to others. Please take my eyes off the world and onto You. Let me declare to my problems how great You are! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

About this Plan
How do we feed ourselves with the Word of God? By reading through the Bible. But how do we grasp all the Bible has to offer in an easy and enjoyable way? This reading plan spans one year with daily bite-sized chunks of devotions and scripture to help you stay focused, at a comfortable pace and without overwhelming yourself. As you begin your walk through the Bible, you'll start to hear, read, study, memorize, meditate, and apply God's word in your life.
