God has a plan for you. Yes, believe it. And it is an amazing and perfect plan. The powers of darkness do not want you to fulfill your God-ordained purpose and destiny. In this very hour the devil has mobilized his demons—and even human agents who are doing his bidding—to launch a ferocious attack against you and me and every human being because we are made in the very image of God.

It is not hard to see what is coming down the pipeline against believers and nonbelievers alike, straight from the pits of hell. But I have good news for you. The true servants of Jesus Christ—soldiers who have been enlisted in the army of the Lord and deployed into the battlefield—will be prayed up and filled with the Word of God to be more than conquerors.

I know this because I spent 25 years in the devil’s camp. I can tell you that our enemy is strong and relentless. He is swift and experienced in the battle. But there is a power he cannot break or destroy: He does not have any authority against the true believer in Christ. There is a name that is above every other name, and that all-powerful name is Jesus Christ. I am going to shout my hallelujah!

Conquering your deliverance means maintaining the spiritual freedom that Jesus Christ paid for. It is like having a teacher tell you on the first day of school, “I’m going to give you an A.” The day you say to Jesus, “Come into my life and be my Lord and Savior,” He gives you an A. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and in partnership with Him, our job is to maintain that A.

Jesus Christ never promised that it would be easy. But the Holy Spirit will lead you on the battlefield, and He will lead you into total victory.

Declare with me: I receive the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ; let it resurrect in my life everything that is dead within me. His blood covers my home, my family, my career, my finances, my ministry, my purpose and my destiny. Let the all-powerful blood of Jesus Christ be a shield over me against every attack coming against me and my family. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
