FAITH TO EMBRACE A FORGIVING HEART
"Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots." LUKE 23:34 NKJV
Eternal God, I pray You will help me to embrace a forgiving heart. Honestly, this is a struggle for me because I have suffered so much from my trauma. It is hard to find genuine love and peace towards the one who harmed me, but I pray You will give me the strength to forgive my abuser. I pray You will increase my faith to do so. Let me be like Jesus, who, while being persecuted, cried out, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Help me embrace a genuinely forgiving heart. Thank you, Lord, for the faith to embrace a forgiving heart.
