Evangelism: Sharing the Good NewsSample
God calls us to work as a team
Thankfully, God doesn't call lone rangers to proclaim the good news. Even Jesus surrounded Himself with His twelve disciples/followers who became His apostles/messengers. We don't have to do this alone! We need to work together with our brethren.
Of course, there are times when we have to evangelize alone, maybe at work or in our families. But, when we go out specifically to tell people the gospel, we should ideally do it as part of a team. Even Paul almost always was within a mission team, and only evangelized alone when circumstances dictated that there was no other option.
If no one wants to evangelize with you, it's better to go it alone than not at all, but of course, two are better than one. One can do the praying and provide accountability whilst the other does the talking. It also provides more security where necessary.
We don't simply call people into a personal relationship with Jesus. We call them into a community of faith in Him. And we do so best as a communal team, rather than as individuals.
Do you prefer to evangelize alone, or as part of a team?
'Father God, we're glad You don't call us to go it alone in the Christian life, but call us to become part of Your family. Please help us to play our part in calling people into Your family, in Jesus's name, Amen.'

About this Plan
Evangelism: the very word strikes fear into the hearts of many ordinary Christians. We often might have a legalistic sense of duty to do it; but isn't evangelism just for those unusual people who are gifted at it? This plan seeks to reclaim evangelism as the sharing of good news that can be delightful rather than daunting!
