“Rejected by Rejection”

The Lord will not reject his people; he will not abandon his special possession. -Psalm 94:14 (NLT)

So, you messed up big time. You did what you said you'd never do. You went in the opposite direction of God's leading. That relationship you knew was no good for you left you shattered, and now you feel worthless; you feel like you're too broken ever to be chosen again. 

When you've reached the bottom, regardless of what landed you there, you're consumed by a whirlwind of rejection that stings you to your core. Being at the bottom convinces you that God has abandoned you; it makes you believe that you've somehow sinned so much and so deeply that grace can no longer reach you where you are. Have you ever been this low? Are you at this low place right now? Well, I have news for you: God never rejects His people; He never abandons what belongs to Him.  

Defeat. Worthlessness. Rejected. Forgotten. Castaway. These are the feelings many of us have when losing the same battle over and over again. But, you have to know that it's not people you have to please; it's not about attaining perfection. It's about pleasing God's heart...even after falling short. Because we are unique to Him, he will never abandon us, and He will always choose us to be His own. There is freedom in knowing that God will never reject us no matter how many slipups we have. His love is forever!
