CHOOSING TO SHARE

Serious question: sweet or salty? I love desserts! When I have a dessert that I love, I really want to keep it just for myself, but I´m confronted with the reality that I actually need to share! And every time I do, I realize that I enjoy the moment, dessert, and company more. Always!

When we discover the life we ​​have in Jesus, when we experience His love, forgiveness, redemption, acceptance, and the purpose that He injects into our lives, we cannot keep it to ourselves. When our hearts begin to burn as we spend time with Jesus on the road and at the table, and when we believe that Jesus, being God, gave His life for us and rose from the dead, we cannot keep it to ourselves!

Something interesting is going to happen when you tell others about Him: Jesus will make Himself present, and His peace will fill you. If you don't find the motivation to share about Him, perhaps you need to spend more time on the road and at the table with Him and with your community of faith. If you need courage, just ask Him and He will give it to you. If you think you have nothing to say, just remember that before Jesus you were dead, and now you have eternal life. That is your story, and that is your testimony!

Choose to walk day by day following Jesus as you serve others on this journey of faith. Decide to spend time at the table with God and open the chair to others, inviting them to His table. Choose not only to be a participant on the road and at the table that Jesus offers you for your own good and satisfaction but for the good of others as well!

If you´re doubting how to share your faith, just remember these two words: Road and Table.

Heavenly Father, thank You for seeking and reaching me. Thank You for not giving up on me, but for finding me on the road and going through my best and worst days by my side. At Your table, I find my place, my strength, and hope. Give me the courage and passion I need to seek You, enjoy You, and share about You every day. Let my heart burn for you!
