Exploring the Deep Places With GodSample

Remember Who is Doing the Uncovering
For us to say yes to God, allowing Him to uncover these deep places within us, it helps to remember who He is—who is doing the uncovering. The Passion Translation of Psalm 145:5-7 reads like this:
Your magnificent splendor and the miracles of your majesty
are my constant meditation.
Your awe-inspiring acts of power have everyone talking!
I’m telling people everywhere about your excellent greatness!
Our hearts bubble over as we celebrate the fame
of your marvelous beauty, bringing bliss to our hearts.
We shout with ecstatic joy over your breakthrough for us.
Read these verses over a few times so it is your “constant meditation.” Allow your mind to offer you visuals of God’s “magnificent splendor” and the “miracles” of His “majesty.” Consider how His acts are “awe-inspiring.” He is great and excellent, whose “marvelous beauty” brings “bliss to our hearts." This makes us “shout with ecstatic joy” due to His “breakthrough for us.” What words and lines in these verses are ones you want to linger over?
Read them aloud a few times, speaking them out to God.
