Have you ever given something a 5-star review? Maybe your favorite movie? Or a beloved taco stand? Or that new video game you can't stop playing? When we encounter something we love, it's natural that we want to tell everyone how great it is. But for some reason, this gets a little weird when the thing we love is our faith in Jesus. It can be hard to know how to talk about what Jesus has done for us and why we've decided to follow him.
But maybe this will help: kind of like a 5-star review, your story has the power to help others see the hope and joy they could also find in Jesus. When our stories spotlight how God has rescued, restored, and redeemed our lives into beautiful stories, we have the chance to remind others that there's hope for them too. Right now, there might be someone in your life who is hurting and needs to know there's hope for them. Maybe the thing that can help that hurting person most is hearing someone like you share how Jesus had brought healing and hope to you.
When has God given you hope or healing? Who might need to hear that story?

About this Plan
Friendship might feel easy when life is easy, but it gets more complicated when your friends are hurting or struggling. What should you do? What should you say? What should you not say? When our friends need help, there are no easy answers, but in this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll see what Scripture invites us to do when others are grieving, lonely, in need, or feeling hopeless.
