Application for Your Calling

The calling that God has given you, is a call that He's given you before you were even born. Let's look at Jeremiah 1:5. It says, 

Before I formed you in the belly, I knew thee. And before thou camest from out of the womb, I sanctified thee and ordained thee a prophet onto the nations.

So before you were born, God already had a calling designed for you. And once you're born, He wants you to discover that calling and implement the calling through various details.

Jesus tells us we can't serve two masters. Either you're going to hate the one and love the other. So when you're looking at the implementation details and if those implementation details do not serve the calling that God has given you, guess what? You're going to hate it. You're not going to love it because it's not serving the core of what God created you to do. 

And so by you separating your calling from the details, that makes your decision-making process so much easier because at the core, you know what you're called to do, so now you can judge the details by your calling.
