Target: Aiming To Focus On GodSample

Target: Aiming To Focus On God

DAY 1 OF 5

Aiming to focus primarily on God’s plan despite what is going on around you is a target that shouldn’t be deliberately missed.  There are individuals who lose focus on God’s plan for their lives due to the distractions of self-doubt, comparisons to others, heeding to the advice of people who seek to stifle one’s progression, and failure to trust God as deliverer.

Electing to focus on distractions and not the Divine promise keeper could potentially result in not receiving the promise at all.

In scripture we read about how the LORD spoke to Moses with instructions to send men to spy out the land of Canaan that God promised to give to the sons of Israel. Twelve spies went to spy out the Promised Land and reported the land’s abundance and even brought forth the land’s fruit: pomegranates, figs and a single cluster of grapes carried on a pole.  But instead of focusing on God’s deliverance, ten out of the twelve spies focused on the distraction of people.

The ten spies focused on the people's: stature, possessions, heritage, strength, and affiliation, but there were two spies, Caleb and Joshua, who focused on the intended target which was receiving God’s plan to inhabit the fruitful, abundant, prosperous Promised Land.

The ten spies acknowledged the land’s abundance but focused on the people, which resulted in a missed opportunity for them to dwell and enjoy the Promised Land.

How many times in life have you focused on people and not God’s promise thus missing out on a blessing?

How many times have you elected to focus on what someone might say, do or think if you followed through with God’s targeted plan for your life?

There are God-honoring dreams, goals, and targets God has placed in you to fulfill.

They could possibly be to go back to school and earn your GED, Undergraduate or Graduate Degree.

Or God has redirected someone to be a stay-at-home parent/guardian/caretaker as they protect, cover, and guide children and loved ones.  Or to serve as an employee of integrity, become an entrepreneur or even RUN away from toxic relationships.

People might have a lot to say in regards to God’s plan for your life, but they don’t possess absolute authority as it relates to fulfilling God’s promises for you.

Aim to focus on God’s targeted plans for your life, remain faithful and seize your blessing!

Day 2

About this Plan

Target: Aiming To Focus On God

Aiming to focus and accomplish God’s plan is a key target for true success. When individuals seek to obey God’s commands regarding His targeted plan for their lives, positive consequences follow.  This Bible plan will encourage readers through scripture to obey God’s commands in the midst of the many distractions seeking to hinder their godly focus.
