God Is My Deliverer

Psalm 32:7

You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

When King Nebuchadnezzar found out that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn't worship the image of the god that he built, he was so angry that he threatened to throw them into a blazing furnace. Amazingly, the threat didn't bring them down. Instead, they told the king boldly that they worshipped a God who can deliver them, but EVEN if God did not deliver them, they still would not worship the idol. What an incredible and inspiring faith they had!

God was there in their midst. He rescued them through the fire. They came out unharmed, not a burn to be seen, and without the stench of smoke. God delivered them through a difficult situation. 

God is our deliverer. A deliverer means a person who saves someone from a painful or bad situation. Just like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, believe that God has every power to rescue you from any trouble, and even when He has not delivered you yet, believe that God is with you through it all, and His grace is always sufficient for you until you gain your victory. 

Prayer

Dear God, I praise You for being my God who delivers me from all my problems, sadness, and struggle. I find strength and peace in You. Amen.
