Isaiah explains that the Lord’s kingdom is everlasting. He establishes eternal peace in our hearts and ensures that good will win the day over evil in the end. The splendor of His glory shines brightly in this sin darkened world and births hope in our hearts as we look forward to the day when sin will be forever defeated.
Are you discouraged by current events? Remember that Christ is firmly seated on the throne, and His voice speaks louder than all earthly clamor. Come before your King and present every burden to Him. His shoulders are strong enough to carry the weight of whatever troubles you today.
Mighty God, fill us with Your perfect peace today. Help us to keep our eyes fully focused on You, not our circumstances. Remind us that Your justice will reign forever, and victory is certain. Amen.
