WHAT ARE MY NEXT STEPS?

Now, you may well ask, what are my next steps? There is much to this journey and His mercies will be new for you every morning. He is ordering your steps, aligning your life, and lavishly releasing His presence on you. So, let’s look at your next steps on this glorious, Royal journey; 

Communion is symbolic of the broken body and shed blood of Jesus. The bread symbolises His body and the cup His blood. We do this in remembrance of Jesus and the high price He paid for our sin and salvation at the cross. You are encouraged to take communion as often as you come together. 

Water Baptism simply represents the death and burial of your old nature, as you are fully immersed under the water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Rising out of the water represents the newness of life. This signifies the washing away of your old sinful nature and the birth of new creation in Christ Jesus. This is a great next step and an ordinance of scripture. Talk with your local Pastor, they will guide you on this journey and direct you in how to fulfil this beautiful, spiritual practice. 

Baptism of the Holy Spirit is an experience promised to us in scripture. This occurs when the Holy Spirit comes upon us and dwells on the inside of us. The laying on of hands often releases the power with the outward evidence of the speaking of other tongues or languages. Speaking in tongues is a perfect prayer that edifies us. Be bold and ask your local Pastor to guide you on this journey as it will strengthen your prayer life and walk with Christ. 

Well done on completing this Royal Journey. This is just the beginning and there are so many wonders yet to be discovered. 

PRAYER

Lord, thank you for drawing me to you. I desire to know you and to be known by you. Help me to understand the steps I have already taken and the steps I am yet to take. This Royal journey is one I long for because you rest at every bend and turn. Amen.
