Lost / Found - About Leading People to ChristSample
Are you wise? 🦉
Is soul winning important to you? Should we allow everyone to go their merry ways and one day face the judgment seat of Christ unprepared? Should we watch people suffer without a Savior, Healer, and Counselor?
Many have different theological backgrounds, and each person must decide about his or her own faith. Joshua said, “...choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15, NKJV)
Respecting people who have other beliefs is very important to me. But there’s still a burning desire in me to tell everyone about my Jesus. The Bible says, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.” (Proverbs 11:30, NKJV)
Are you wise? Do you win souls?
The proverbs of Solomon say, “Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding” (Proverbs 3:13, NIV). When you understand and apply this, you’ll start winning people to God.
You’re wise enough to know real eternal life is found in Christ. You know He gives abundant life here on earth as well. For many years, I prayed God would use me to win my friends, my family and others to Christ. I had a specific burden in my heart for my uncle and aunt. I loved both of them very much, but they were far from God. They were far from God, but close to me. So it was my personal mission to appeal to them to “...Be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:20, NIV)
One day, I felt compelled to visit my aunt and share the love of God with her. As I walked up, I saw her smiling face, and she shared the story of her recent experience with the Spirit of God. She had stumbled into a nearby church and made a personal decision for Christ. Wow! My prayers had been answered. We wept together because God had mercy on both of us, and now wisdom required us to share this joy with others.
Who are you praying for? Who in your life needs Jesus? They may not be close to God yet, but they can be close to you, and you can lead them to Him.
Because you’re a miracle.
